More Fairies. No Bunnies.

My big plan was to switch over to the bunnies featured in Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime collection. I thought I had had enough of the fairies.

I was wrong. I like the fairies, so I made some more cards using the cuties.

I like yesterday's best, but I like the little cloth flowers that I added to the two I made today.

I have birthday cards to make this weekend. I will post them on Sunday.

Happy Friday!!

I happened upon a review of Austin Kleon's book STEAL LIKE AN ARTIST this morning. I'm definitely heading to Powells to buy it. (not e-reader friendly). He supports the notion of a collective consciousness.

Graphic 45 Springtime

I really love Graphic 45 paper, and I've been meaning to get a project done using one of their series.

Today I made a card using their  "Once Upon a Springtime"  collection.

I had such fun!

I'm going to create one with the bunnies next.

I love the colors in this series.

I carefully cut the fairies and the flower out.

Getting Back to it!

The Craft Room is done!!
Now that I have my room and equipment back I can resume work, and feel centered again.
Besides Valentine's Day cards, a few Birthday cards, and three Congratulations cards, my creativity has been stalled since January.

But what to do first?? I found unfinished scrapbooks, unfinished sewing projects, a cross stitch to frame, my Dad's shadowbox to assemble, and a doll house to construct.

I also need to get started building my inventory for the Holiday Craft Fair - .

I'll start posting within the next week.
Craft on!!

Work Counter. All of my small papercrafting elements are within reach.
Doll making and miniature elements.
I like using handmade papers in paper crafts.

(We bought a vintage bonnet box yesterday (see below) that will replace the dresser after refinishing).

The bonnet box we bought yesterday is the same style as this one.
